Developed by Australian studio Trickstar, the official game of next year's Ashes series Shall be released for the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC next summer.Ashes Cricket 2013 will feature licences from both the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA), as well as player likenesses & venues.
The game will also be playable in local and online multiplayer with up to 4 people.
Keen to attract new fans to cricket, ECB's John Perera said of the game: "The ECB is committed to bringing new fans into the sport, and the Ashes Cricket 2013 game will do just that in conjunction with the real thing..
"Most of the ongoing, Eng side are keen gamers, and will no doubt be spending a lot of time playing it whilst preparing for the real thing come the summer," he added.
Cricket-based video games have been few and far b/w since Ashes Cricket 2009 and I.C 2O1O..
